Their Styles2020/06/07

Recently, people seem to have found their own ways of wearing masks. The most meaningless and ridiculous way I think is so-called "Ago mask (chin mask)" which is placing your mask under your chin. This is not only unsightly but also dangerous because when you slide down your mask, you scrape all dirt, which could contain deadly virus, from your skin surface with the inside of the mask which you later put into contact with your nose and mouth again. People wearing mask in this way might think it is like wearing their sunglasses on their head, but this way is nothing but nonsense. Even TV reporters sometimes wear their mask in this way.

I also have seen people hanging their mask from their wrist (I call this Tekubi (wrist) mask), just like pouch or something and put it on when entering a building or passing by other people.

I think the above two methods are practiced mainly men over middle age but obachans are usually wear theirs properly. Its a mystery why ojisans attempt such dangerous ways. Or this might explain why ojisans more likely to get infected with COVID-19 than their female counterparts. This is just my guess, though.
