Chilled Coffee ― 2009/09/10
The muggy Fukuokan summer is ending.
Is it still OK to talk about summer beverage as the temperature (sometimes) reaches 30 Celsius?
In our fridge there is always a 2litre bottle of chilled coffee during summer.
This is my method to make chilled coffee.
Buy packed ground coffee beans roasted and blended especially for the purpose(claimed on the packet). (Available at supermarkets at around 500 yen, around $5.4 or 37RMB, as of 2009/09/10)
Fill a container with roughly crushed ice.
Then drip-brew with generous amount of the beans over the container untill the contailer is full.
That’s it. Isn’t it easier than going to Starbucks, leaving the taste aside?
