Walking along Beach2009/09/08

the long and straight road...
After returning to Japan, I put 10kg, because sweet buns here are so delicious that I ate 2to 3 buns a day, even just before going to bed.
In a nation of skeltons, being 59kg is unacceptable and unfogivable.
I couldn't find any clothes that I could get in. I decided to lose some weight.

Luckily, in my neighbourhood there are some promenades designed to encourage us to walk and improve our health.
So I walked about 7,000 steps every day for 6 months. My weight is now 51.5kg! Hurray!!
One of my walking route is a promenade along a beach.
This promenade is 2 km long, and has good facilities for walkers, including...
Toilets
Maybe bigger than our flat...

Of course bathroom tissues are available, but not paper towel.
You are supposed to squat over this...

Just in case, AED s(Automated External Defibrillator) are also available
But how many people knows how to use it, anyway?

A bubbler (for your dog, too)
Not for dog, but for washing your feet?

Not only walking, you can enjoy fishing on the breakwater.
Catch your dinner!

And don’t forget smoking space.

No partition...
But when you smoke here, people passing by will cover their nose and unreservedly turn their face away from you in order to avoid secondhand smoking..
So you will experience how it feels to be an anti-social.
