 After their long long　strict "stay-home" period, so strict that their daughter didn't attend school, the Emperor and Empress have finally appeared in public, mixed with a huge number of foreign people without mask. A shockingly giant leap for Japanese folks.  Even I, a self-appointed hardcore masker, began to feel it ridiculous to stick to mask-wearing.

 長い長い「ステイホーム」期間（子どもも学校に通わないほどの厳しさ）を経て、天皇皇后両陛下がついに公の場にマスクなしでお出ましになりました。しかも大勢の外国人の皆さんに混じって。日本人にとってはびっくりするほど大きな一歩です。マスク原理主義者を自称する私ですら、何が何でもマスクを着用し続けるのがアホらしくなってきました。
