Ore-Corona Ojisan /俺コロナおじさん   n.


(“I’m corona” Uncle) Middle- or advanced-aged male individuals who claim themselves to have been infected with COVID-19, stating “俺コロナ (I am corona virus)” at public places. This claim is sometimes accompanied with harassment behaviour such as blowing on or spitting at their interlocutors. Although often intended to be a form of joke, this remark is usually unacceptable and can lead to the arrest of the stater for forcible obstruction of business. This remark seems to be made only by males. No case of “Atashi-Corona obasan( I'm corona aunt)” has been reported so far. Ore-Corona Ojisan might be a phenomenon that is observed only in Japan. In other countries they could be killed as immediately as they say so by shot, bomb other noncontact methods.
