Reckless Old Men2020/05/08

Recently (in a couple of grocery shopping outing for the past week, to be precise)  I have seen many elderly men in their late 60s or 70s strolling around not wearing masks, despite the fact that statistically they could be more vulnerable than others to  COVID-19.
I wonder why they think they are OK, even though once they get infected they would be more likely die than any other age groups or genders.
If you know Japanese middle-aged or old men yourself, you must know they could be the most troublesome to look after, too.

Today's (and possibly for a couple of days from now's ) Treat2020/05/08

tamago!
A slice of homemade Tamagoyaki (sweet and salty omelette)

Don't ask me why I had to make a huge tamagoyaki with eight eggs after I went to shopping for the next week..

Solo snacking
Cream-sandwich cake and black coffee at Lawson : 240yen
Why is a combination of cheap fat and sugar so irresistible?

This time I back to my old territory for the first time since the beginning of April.
Unlike last time there was no one in this place, I saw a few fellow snackers.
Things might be slowly moving forward.
with fellow snackers

Today's find was this coffee.

No added ice, which means the coffee will not be watery until the end-- a better value for money compared with iced coffee available upon your request at the till, which comes with a half-cupful of ice. And you can buy this without speaking to the cashier (it was available on the shelf near chilled drink cabinets), which may help not spread viruses. Though I know not going to a covini is much more helpful.
