Whenever I see him, he is harnessed and on leash. Uncommon for a cat, he seems neither frustrated being on leash, nor ill to be in such condition. His previous life may have been a dog.
Meat Bun ― 2009/09/14
I don’t always pick up what I eat from streets for free. I do buy ready-made meals…..once in a while.
This is my favourite Chinese steamed meat bun. This ginormous bun can be a substantial lunch on its own. But with small-sized salad, you can make it through a whole afternoon without snacking.
As the inside of bun is filled with gravy, when you decide to try this, you will need a napkin or to improve your liquid-sucking technique to avoid the consequent mess or loss of the delicious gravy.
Although my intelligent oven can reheat buns in this size successfully, I definitely use my old-fashioned bamboo steamer to steam them. Why? By using steamer, you can even enjoy a nice cooking smell rising with the steam, which is a privilege for a cook.
