When Pointer Finger Is Wounded ― 2023/10/23
The other day I have my right pointer finger cut by edge of an empty can. The wound itself was small and could be covered completely with a strip of a specialized bandage.

Evening School ― 2023/10/23
I didn’t know that there was an evening school for anyone who didn't receive enough education at junior-high school, and that it is near my place.
この辺に夜間中学があったとは知りませんでした。中等教育を十分に受けなかった人向けらしいです。
I wish I could be a part-time student so that I could learn mathematics, science and other subjects, excluding PE, that I didn't get the slightest idea what they are when I was a teenager. I guess I have developed enough patience to read through the textbooks, at least, aside from whether I could understand the contents.
科目を選んで（特に数学や理科。体育は除く）授業が受けられたらいいのになあ。十代のころは何が何だかさっぱりだったけれど、いまは教科書を読むぐらいのことはできそうな気がします。中身が分かるかどうかは別としても。

When I read this, I realized that such schools still exist in this country, though the purposes and pupils of the schools may have changed slightly.
この漫画で、夜間中学がまだあることがわかりました。学校の目的や生徒さんの顔ぶれには少々変化があったようですが。
