The Least Useful Guide to Fukuoka

A list of things available and not available on shelves of local supermarkets (as of 14 July, 2020). I hope this list will be an interesting reading in the near future. 

Readily available:

coffee, tea, tofu, bean sprouts,  masks, pasta, toilet and kitchen papers, pancake mixes, butter (what was the banana cake phenomenon?) etc.

Somewhat available:

Meat (but not imported lower-priced ones), fish (depending on the weather condition), bananas (more expensive than before the corona time). 

Not available:

Leafy vegetables, carrot, spring onions. Possibly because of the heavy rain which has washed greens away. Pasta sauces (purchase is limited).

Completely Disappeared: 

hand soaps, alcohol-based hand sanitizers (dubious-looking sanitizers are plenty, though).
