In a Supermarket ― 2014/01/26
Pain pudding ( JPY 160 minus 10% discount), and coffee ( JPY100 )
I found a nice spot for a quick break on my way home from the zoo.
Despite its location, in a high-end (by my standard) supermarket, this bakery is quite accessible pricewise. The girl at the till even gave me a mysterious 10% discount without saying reasons.
It has a café space offering self-service coffee at JPY 100 (I didn’t confirm, but probably on condition that you buy at least one product and eat it in) with a free refill.
The space was open and plenty, and the staff did not pay much attention to me (in other words, I was not under surveillance that would keep me from getting a refill) so I could sit comfortably and enjoy my snack without feeling bad about taking a seat with such a small amount of order. The café seems to serve light meals with all-you-can-eat slices of loaves at affordable prices, which one day I would like to try.
