Yet Another Accident ― 2023/07/19
Following the death of a middle-aged man during an ”aquathon” event only two day before, we saw yet another water-related accident a very nearby beach.
This time a high-school boy was found in the sea unconscious after his missing was reported to the police and ten fire-engines and a helicopter tried to find him.
前々日に「アクアスロン」大会でおじさんが亡くなったばかりだというのに、すぐ近くのビーチでまたしても水の事故が起こりました。
今度は、高校生の男子がいなくなって、消防車10台とヘリコプター1台で捜索したところ、海で意識不明になっているところが発見されたというもの。
...I wonder why accidents and sinister events are concentrated in this particular area. There are many beaches and venues where people gather in other areas, such as Itoshima and Munakata. Are we cursed by something?
どうしてこの辺でばかり怖い事故が起きるのかなあ。ここ以外にも糸島とか宗像とか、人が集まるビーチやイベント会場はあるのに。呪われているのでしょうか？

A piece of French toast and iced coffee: 400+α yen (with morning discount) at a local French-themed cafe.
The girls behind the counter used to greet with Bonjour and I liked it.
フレンチトーストとアイスコーヒー：400円ちょっと（モーニングサービス価格）。フランス風カフェにて。
以前はお姉さんたちが「ボンジュール」とあいさつしてくれていて、それが好きだったのですが、今はもうやってないみたいです。人手不足だもの、無理はさせられないわよね…。
A plate of pancakes and drink bar: 700+α yen (morning special price) at a local Royal Host.
Very satisfying. I didn't want to snack out for a while after having this. I also enjoyed being served by human waiting staff.
パンケーキとドリンクバー。700円ちょっと（朝のセット価格）。ロイヤルホストにて。
大満足でした。この後しばらく外でおやつを食べずに済みました。人間のスタッフの皆さんにおもてなししてもらえたのも嬉しかったです。
A small piece of Dorayaki and cold green tea at a local Chidori-ya.
In fact this is a food sampling for free of charge at a local confectionary store with a quite long history where I popped in to buy some Dorayaki. My craving for Dorayaki was satisfied with this piece. I no longer wanted it, but I couldn't leave the store without buying anything after receiving such a generous entertainment. So I got Shiratama Manju (around 300 yen) instead.
ミニどら焼きと冷茶。近所の千鳥屋にて。
これは試食だったのでタダ。昔からあるお菓子屋さんです。ちょうどどら焼きを買おうと思って立ち寄ったのですが、このありさまに。どら焼き欲はタダで満たされたけれど、何も買わずにお店を出るのも悪いので、白玉饅頭（300円くらい）を買いました。
