The Least Useful Guide to Fukuoka

I used to consider illy coffee a specialty for coffee connoisseurs since a Spanish girl (Catalonian girl, to be more precise) told me she only trusted cafes and stores that stock illy because it is Europe’s most trustworthy coffee brand. 

Actually, for me in Fukuoka,  illy has been a precious delicacy  that could be found only at exclusive stores (by no means Marukyo) and cafés. There were even rumours of bogus cafes claiming they brewed illy, but in fact filled their illy coffee canisters with UCC (I don’t mean UCC is a second-class coffee, though).

Now, four years later than its European debut, canned illy espressos are available everywhere! thanks to Japan Coca Cola company that started dealing with it.
