Is this pretty fish a baby flying fish?

Today's Freebies2010/07/08

In terms of freebies, it was a lucky day today. In nearly every place I dropped in I got something free of charge, and so did my husband. Did we look so pitiful that the shipmasters felt urged to hand me something, out of their sympathy?  Or have we used up all our luck today?

1. A bunch of green soybeans (called Edamame).

young soybeans

From a street vegetable vendor from whom I bought some vegetables(↓).

JPY600 worth

2. A disposable lighter

From a convenience store from whome I bought five packs of cigarettes.

the tabacco cost 300 a pack

3. A thin hand towel

useful in the kitchen

From a fishing park where my husband bought a set of admission tickets.

By the way, the entrance fee to the fishing park is JPY1,000 (for 4-hour fishing), and a set of eleven tickets cost JPY10,000.

the tickets in concern

The fishing park seems to give the towel when you buy the JPY10,000 coupon.

Then, in front me there are a couple of the towels.

worth JPY30,000?

Does this mean he has spent a fortune (by my standard) without my knowledge to catch the bit-sized baby fishes?
