The Least Useful Guide to Fukuoka

¥980 (about Rmb82, as of 2009/11/26 ) at a local DIY store.
This basket is originally designed for drying fish.
Actually I bought this in order to dry the surplus of my husband’s catch. But now it became a vegetable dryer in my household.

I sometimes find a vegetable at ridiculously low price. For example, today I bought this huge white radishes at only ¥59/each.

Then it is time to make dry radish, which I will use for various dishes later.

The fine net is to keep flies away, but it also keeps small peaces of vegetable from slipping away from the basket. Very clever!
